How Does Thermofax Printing Work?

See the printing process with a thermofax screen at work on this video by Claire Benn and Leslie Morgan from Committed to Cloth.
The first requirement for thermofax printing is a suitable design. Once you are happy with your design, you need a thermofax screen. The image is transferred to a film in the form of lines, which is then printed onto the medium (fabric, paper, etc.) using inks, dyes, discharge paste, acrylic media, etc. Thermofax printing is an easier process than using silk screens, or screens made of Vilene, freezer paper, etc.
